Thursday @ 10:30

From Kathy:

After turning of the sedation meds Derrick started to to not get enough oxygen.  So they will be keeping him in the ventilator at least one more day. But he is doing much better. All the doctors have said he is on the mend. Also the hantavirus has come back negative!  Praise God!  While he was awake I was able to talk to him just a little. I told him how much love and prayers have been showered down on us.

Remembering both you and Derrick in our prayers. It’s great to hear there are signs of healing. We continue to ask the Lord to be big in this situation! “I sought the Lord and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Look to him, and be radiant…This poor soul cried, and was heard by the Lord, and was saved from every trouble. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him” (Ps. 34.4-8).
